Went for a drive and somehow the plug for the gearbox popped and the oil leaked out I noticed when I popped out of 3. Still running but noise. What are my options?

Refill with oil new plug and hope not damaged

Took down the buttom plate and didn't see gears fubar but I'm waiting for the silicone to set to refill.
