As per title, what do you guys recommend? I only have a basic speaker system (4 speakers and a double din H/u) so nothing fancy, what sort of battery would be sufficient for me?
I've searched the forums but there's all sorts of answers from all different dates
Thanks

Depends really, but in your current situation probably an optima red-top. If you plan on doing up the I.C.E. soon, then go the yellow-top as it handles being discharged a lot better.

This is actually where I was heading, but in a round-a-bout way.
I've had the Century battery in ours now going on 3 years and still strong.

The optima's might be expensive, but there's a reason for it: They're good. Being a gel-cel battery, they can be moved to the boot without fuss, and are also able to be strapped down using a ratchet strap (Like vectose has done) for extra clearance. They're also maintenance free, so you don't have to check the levels all the time and keep topping them up as the acid drops.
edit: Also, being acid free means that if you like to drive "spiritedly" then you're not going to end up with acid all over the battery tray and down the inside of the wheel arch.
