And a floor console (put a crack in it taking it out but not too bad)
And...a factory Momo steering wheel...Nothing else too awesome but yeah haha. I'm happy! :)

Momo wheel probably wont fit without modification if its an airbag wheel. Has a different contact on the top of the indicator/wiper unit (you probably have the non airbag unit). You possibly should have grabbed the boot too as the GPvR wing has different mount holes to the stock wing.

Are you sure? My version R wing fitted my silver car's boot that had a standard wing. Or is it the centre post that is different?

Yep, got some damage though.

Mmm yeah I know about that one..this was a pre-facelift wreck so they modified it here too..
Steering wheel got first dibs from the one who told me about the wreck. Goes to me if it doesn't fit for them.

:? :? Gonna need clarification on the boot lid..might try removing my wing and lining this one up..?

Have a go, it's only like 6 bolts/nuts. Takes 2 minutes to get it on and off.

I think you might find that the centre post is the problem.

Hmm yeah that'd be right, I was told I could use some stupidly strong double sided tape (it exists apparently) to make it stick if I have to. Will check it out though.

Are you sure? My version R wing goes straight onto a boot with standard wing holes. Unless the wing was previously modified?

Absolutely positive. Standard wing has 2 of the press clips and one threaded bolt and GPvr has 2 threaded bolts and one clip. Also, the GPvR wing has one of the threaded bolts on the outer seam. None of the standard wing fittings are on the outer seam. Also, ive had to modify one in the past to fit. You have to drill....

Interesting. Maybe the one you gave me was already modified. I had absolutely no problems when test fitting it to old old silver bucket.

....so if I keep my standard boot lid and drill extra holes to make it fit, I'm gonna have more holes next to the wing itself leftover?

You would get those welded up.

My advice is to go get the boot that it came off (its the same color as your car anyway isn't it?)

Then you have a spare and dont have to hack up your one.

My car is black, this is blue :facepalm2:
Got a red facelift bar coming as well, not to mention my boot lid has paint damage. At this rate, I'm doing a lot of painting as it is...
Full respray is on the tables.
