Ok so my gearbox has had a "Bennoz' special rebuild" and all the internal bearings were replaced.
The second hand clutch that I got with my manual conversion manual conversion manual conversion kit is still good - almost new. But, the bearing needs to be replaced.. whichever the one that comes with the clutch is. Thrust bearing correct? (Forgive me I am n00b and this is my first manual car

)
Can I buy just the bearing or do I have to fork out for a whole new clutch kit? Clutch is a standard Exedy OEM replacement as far as I know.

You can buy just the throw out/ thrust bearing on its own. I don't have species atm but when I get my ccharger fixed I can get you the model number.

Awesome, cheers mate. How much are they usually? If the cost is close to a clutch kit ill just get a kit but I dont wanna spend an extra $300ish if I dont have to, the clutch I have now is nearly new.

Take the old bearing to any clutch place and they will be able to match it up no dramas. Sorry I don't have any specifics for you atm

Auto One are the distributors for Excedy. I've ordered a number of these from them in the past, you ring them up as it's an order-in part, ask for Excedy bearing BRG2221. Usually takes a day to come in.
Last one I bought was $36 bucks.
