Ok so my gearbox has had a "Bennoz' special rebuild" and all the internal bearings were replaced.

The second hand clutch that I got with my manual conversion manual conversion manual conversion kit is still good - almost new. But, the bearing needs to be replaced.. whichever the one that comes with the clutch is. Thrust bearing correct? (Forgive me I am n00b and this is my first manual car )

Can I buy just the bearing or do I have to fork out for a whole new clutch kit? Clutch is a standard Exedy OEM replacement as far as I know.

You can buy just the throw out/ thrust bearing on its own. I don't have species atm but when I get my ccharger fixed I can get you the model number.

Awesome, cheers mate. How much are they usually? If the cost is close to a clutch kit ill just get a kit but I dont wanna spend an extra $300ish if I dont have to, the clutch I have now is nearly new.

Oh god no mate. Like 50 max and that's expensive.

Take the old bearing to any clutch place and they will be able to match it up no dramas. Sorry I don't have any specifics for you atm

Auto One are the distributors for Excedy. I've ordered a number of these from them in the past, you ring them up as it's an order-in part, ask for Excedy bearing BRG2221. Usually takes a day to come in.

Last one I bought was $36 bucks.
