Police operations.

Today when I was travelling down narellen road from Campbeltown, I noticed that some of the speed signs had been coverd with black tape and bags, a sign saying that a police operation was now underway and a whole bunch of de mountables and a few cops were present.
Does any on know what they might be up to? I could of swore that stuff appeared overnight. Traffic was also moving really slow for some reason.
