Like every other Fto owner, I'm after a new concole for my car, I know Dwayne sells New ones but I want to see if there are any decent second hand ones out there as I am going to paint it anyway! need both the inner and outer pieace I'd anyone has it. cheers

first I read it as Cancer... then I read the concole... You must be desperate for one.

Buying a second hand centre console or stereo surround is like buying a used condom. It will be messy, it might or might not work. Your call.

I figured if be pushing my luck, as they are all as shagged as another! Bought my last set for the black FTO from dwayne, i think....and it was pretty good. Haven't broken it get even after all the pulling and pushing I have done in it.. I am also looking at getting a new gauge cover thingie.. Possibly not the right terminology, but how do i take it out? Was pulling the console out today and everything else in that general area, and just couldn't find any screws or clips or anything... Do I take the dash off to be able to get into it all? Will proberbly just buy a new one of thoes also, as my looks sh*t as it has been painted many times by the looks of it and it has cracked with the sun and looks so unattractive!!!!

Are you talking about the climate control unit?

There should be a few screws underneath it where it joins the stereo surround I think? If you've got them just pull it back towards the rear of the car and up.

The one with the clock and volt gauges in it, so I'd say yes, I undid those two screws,, and it didn't seem to want to come out, it moves abit, but won't come out? In no rush with this car and finally have my hands on a starter motor, so she will be out of the middle of my drive way now! I'll wait for the mechanic to come home to do the dash I think

Yeah put your hand on the top if it and pull it back towards you...

You will need to unplug the clock and volt gauges, as well as the hazard light switch. After you pull it out.
