belts

i think i need all my belts changed .. they are all making noises and cracking ... dose anyone know were i can get them changed in melbourne and how much it will cost ... my macanic said i would be looking around 500 bucks...

is it relly that expensive? .... he said my timing belt is about to die.. so yeah... anyone know were i can get the belts? or any advice? thanks

yeah? have u had them changed before? how much would i be looking at?
im kinda tight on oney atm... just got a 400 phone bill

and a ticket for talking on the phone...

The actual timing belt costs about 200 dollars and it takes about 3.5 hours to change it. 500 dollars seems a decent price for the job. If the belt does break you'll have a very expensive bill

you can get them for about 140.00 these days...

It may be cheaper for me to buy them from Oz that in the UK

Over here it costs £79 which equates to $202
