What is a standard FTO supposed to sound like?

Hi all,
firstly id like to apologize for the dumb question. My partner and I own two fto's a 95 (we are selling) & my 96, neither of them are modified.

The 95 sounds like it has mods, there is an odd whistleing turbo sort sort of sound the entire time its running. There doesn't seem to be anything at all wrong with it in fact It's an amazing car.

Visually nothing under the hood is much different either.

Really appreciate any thoughts on what it might be.

Does the one with the whistling have a high idle? Could have a vacuum leak.

Exhaust leak can sound like a whistle.

Exhaust leak is also accompanied by the smell of petrol/exhaust in the cabin, depending how bad it is. I didn't notice a whistle when I had one in mine though.

Check the Mr Fusion, and, if that's OK, the flux capacitor.

Maybe it's a pulley or something on the way out? My car had a similar type noise which turned out to be the aircon pulley playing up.
