We can only hope but i feel that with the Evo platform coming to an end that Mitsubishi needs a sports car.

It would be cool, but I guess we can only dream.
The likely-hood of it being called the FTO is probably nil as well, as I can imagine if they went to that effort, it would be RWD and probably called the GTO.
Then again there is the new mirage platform to base it off...
