Alternator belt?!

Anyone the length & width of the alternator belt? Can i get it in repco or i HAVE to goto mitsu to get it? How much approx is it?

got mine at high street spares at high street, penrith. got it for... i think it was $40?? cant remember...

brought it for close to $70 at mitsu parramatta road, bit expensive

Just FYI, I picked up alternator and power steering belts from Auto Excel in St Johns Park for $41. The power steering belt was Gates and the alternator belt was some Japanese brand.
Had to replace both on the weekend when my alternator belt flew to bits and the leftovers got wrapped round the powering steering belt.

damn your lucky you didn't waste your crank sensor...
guys if you see that your belts are worn... replace them straight away as your tend to loose crank sensors when the belt goes to bits

Yeah was pretty lucky in the end. Initially thought it was much worse than it actually was. I knew the belts were worn for well over a month, but me being me I was lazy in getting them changed. So take Steve's advice and change the buggers.

Hi guys, can anyone tell me where they got the alternator belt from?
Mitsu is quoting me $64 for the genuine 4PK 945
I can get either the 940 or 950 for about half the price from Repco. Is it better to get the tighter 940 or the looser 950 if I can't get the 945 ???
