Spetz Vs. FTO GP Version R

I had a race with an FTO Version R last night.
It was one of my friends that I been trying to race for a while.
Anyway, from first gear he was already behind and the gap just got bigger and bigger. By about 170-180km/h he was well behind by I would say near enough 3 car lengths. (no accurate distance but from the rear view mirror he looks quite far back).
So now... how quick is a GPvR on a dragstrip?

Not much difference. Could be .25 of a second difference due to the LSD that they have....
Their reduced weight, is not much at all.

The standard 1/4 figures I have read are 14.8 for the manual. Personally I haven't been able to go faster than 15.3 so far - I figure the 14.8 was done with 100 octane fuel which I haven't used yet. I need to have another go...

Where you sure it was a GP version R?
There is also a GP or GX sports that has the full version R body.

It's a friend of mine and I am sure it is a genuine Version R.
Has metal bumper, blue FTO seats, no climate control, strut bars...
Also has an LSD (he told me he has checked)
And no didn't swap cars, I don't let people drive my car.
Makes sense I beat him, so much less weight to carry

Easy way to tell is check the chassis number. If it has HNFH3 (manual) or HYFH3 (auto), its a GPvR. The GPX is HNGH/HYGH...
