Hey Guys,
Had to leave my car undriven for awhile and now i have a flat battery. Is it possible to jump start it without causing any damage ? If i do jump start it will this solve the problem after driving it for a couple of hours or will it just go flat again overnight ??
If im up for a new battery what size/sort should i be getting ?

Hey Barfy, I'm not a huge fan of jump starting FTOs as I've had a bad experience jump starting another car from mine.
I would recommend that you use an AC charger to recharge your battery. They only cost $20 or so and you never know when they'll come in handy.
as for if the battery will hold its charge ... that depends on if the battery is caput or not. If it is really old then it won't hold it's charge well. But if you have the car running it should be enough to get you to a battery retailer.
Failing that let me know ... I can always drive you to a battery retailer
Let us know how you go.

I actually take it to the mivec range as much as possible every time I reset the ECU. So the ECU will learn to respond better when I need the "kick in/kick down" during corner, accelerate, & over take
If you take it easy, the ecu will hesitate when you really need that extra “boostâ€

Not all cars does these days, those which need to are usually the cheapy $13,999 drive away, most of the new cars would have already done the run in the factory, and hint why some of them don’t due in for the first service until 15,000 km
