VIC - join some rexxies for a race day?

I was talking to a mate of mine who is a mechanic for Suburu STI, down at the docklands, and he mentioned that they do track days fairly often (the guys with lots of money in nice racing rexxies love to hammer them round the track and have the money to back it up).
Basically he said that they always look for others to help amatize (sp?) the costs. They invite other clubs to join them and run a good day!
I assume that there will be people interested and will keep my ears open for when they run the next one =)
