KYB Shock Absorbers for FTO vehicles

I have been meaning to do this for ages - since someone asked me a while ago but there was some confusion on the availability of standard type KYB shock absoers and lovel springs for the FTo vehicles.
Confirming that we have access to standard replacement KYB improved strut assemblies for teh FTO vehicles at very reasonable prices and of course the lovell springs.
The shock absorbers are valued around $135.00 each for the front and $90.00 each for teh rears.
Anyway someone asked me to let people know about this - so here I am doing so

Just out of interest......
Are these shocks standard height? can they be shortened to suit the Lovell Springs (I assume they are lowered) you mention in your post?
Cheers

The shocks are designed to suit standard and lowered springs with no problems.

Mitsiman,
So this sought of setup would cost (for equipment alone):
$135 x2 Front KYB shocks
$95 x2 Rear KYB shocks
$?? x2 Front springs
$?? x2 Rear springs
I'm interested as at this point in time as I can't justify spending enormous amounts of cash on a fully adjustable setup.

Exact prices are as follows
Front KYB replacement shock absorbers each $136.35 incl GST
Rear KYB replacement shock absorbers each $89.10 incl GST
Front Lovell lowering springs each $64.81 incl GST
Rear lovell lowering springs each $65.00 incl GST
Have done these on quite a few cars not just FTo and they all drive a lot better.
The lowering springs are avialbale as either 30mm or 50mm lowered all round or combinations of.

I have no interest in lowering the car, so, how long the factory spring lasts for?
My car has done 140k kms on them.

Thanks Mitsuman,
Very handy to know as I am replacing springs/shocks very soon.
Any idea as to how much the KYB AGX option cost for the FTO?
Cheers

Mitsiman,
Can you please confirm the model/series number of the struts?
Premium, Excel-G, Gas-A-Just, AGX?
You mentoned that it might be Excel-G, however, you werent sure.
Are they "Excel-G Gas Replacement Strut 330000 Series", which has been advertised in the kyb web site?
Please clarify.

For those of you on the Eastern Seaboard, UAS also have the KYB shocks - I got mine from them over a year ago and have been very happy.
Smorison also runs with the KYB's

Regarding to Front KYB shock absorbers, is this inserts only, or insert and struts together?
Also, do we have to pay for postage? As far as I can see, KYB has an office in every major city. Can we just collect from there?

Sorry missed that info.
These are complete struts not inserts.
Yes yuo have to pay for postage because we cannot get teh goods delivered direct from KYB to you, it has to come through the KYB agents for each state in this case the WA rep and from them to us.
Freight woudl be $40.00 to delvier anywhere in australia

I have called KYB, and they don’t have any listing for FTO’s???
Mitsiman,
Can you please clarify what is for sale here? Model/Serial number.
I need Shockers with struts front and rear from KYB, not sure about the model number though?
Teania or Steven,
Can you please advice what model of KYB shockers installed into your FTO?
Many Thanks
