guys i have a triptonic gpx fto, i notice that when deccelerating the gear will move from fourth to third and then straight to first when completely stop, otherwise the gear will stay in third no matter how slow i am moving (20km/hr).
i am just wondering if this is normal or there is some problem with the gear.
thanks

well glad to hear that but then the acceleration is heavy when accelerating from 20km/hr while it is on the third gear.

Don't drop straight down to 1st until you almost come to a stop or you going to say bye bye to your gear box soon.

hey guys.. i was just wondering with the tip gearbox.. is it ok to go down from 3 to 2 and then one? or just to let the tip box from 3 to 1?
Im a bit confused.. cos someone told me that u shudnt go down gears from 3 to 2 and then 1, that you should let it go down from 3 to 1 by itself.
=S

Once you're letting the box do it automatically then its fine...I'ts really all about speed, if you're going too fast to gear down to 1st then you could damage the box but as i recall when i had a tip, it wont let you do that anyway.
