OK,

Replaced the Grill some time back with some stainless steel mesh. Decided to do the same today with the lower ducting (see below).

For anyone wanting to remove the front bumper or do the same as I have, see the guide I have put together below:

That looks great Dwayne!!

I made the mistake of actually taking the existing mesh out & having it chrome plated.... put it back on only to find that with it now chrome, it accentuated all the dents in it.... now I have a shiny dented grill :P

This is just aftermarket stuff. Goto Autobarn and pick up a 1.2m x 20cm sheet for $30 in the colour of your choice (they had blue, black, chrome, red). Really easy to fit - just follow the guide above.

I have a few pieces of pre-cut stainless steel mesh laying in my garage from when I fitted mine. There are photos of it on my car somewhere on the forum. PM me if anyone is interested.

Matching

Yeh,

Couldnt quite match mine. The place I got the bit for the main grill from stopped stocking the mesh (with the same size holes) before I picked up the bit for the bottom. Had to source elsewhere, hence the slight mismatch. Might have to get another bit sometime so they match.

Still, I think it looks better than nothing....
