Red part between tail lights

my fto has the red bit with fto writen on it between the back lights i have never seen another fto with this how come??? is it possible to remove it and if so whats underneath?
i havent got a picture on my work computer but will try to get home tonight and post one if you have no idea what im talking about...

I've got that as well, if you open up your boot, you see there are 3 screws on the top, unscrew that, & then you might need a hairdryer or a heat gun to take the panel off, as its most likely stuck on with industrial double sided tape.

Underneath is just like every other FTO.

Cheers for that bud, i'll have a play around on the weekend see if it comes off with out to much trouble

Why would you want to take it off???

It looks sweet on silver FTO's.

probably wont end up taking it off cause im so lazy and my best mate might be coming up from nsw this weekend so no time
