Those changed the dials to KMC V3

Ok I’ve spend the whole morning changing the globes & fitting the dials. The only problem I’ve got is try to loosening up the tahco needle.
I've read & heard they are very easy to "pop" out, but so far doesn't matter what I do, my one refuse to move even 1 micro meter.
I've actually gone to the point where I think if I use any more strength the whole dial will dial/gauge will snap in half.
So had anyone had a similar problem before, if so, what did you do?
Oh & those T6.5 globes that someone found on ebay are very poor quality, I have to modify every single one of them inorder to work.

Never thought of using any kitchen stuff for cars before ahahahaah
