well i'm voting for perfect power even though its not on the list...
perhaps you should redo this as "what ecu do you use?" those who do not have one or have not tired a range of different ones maybe uninformed of which is better for what application.... ultimately that's what it comes down to "what do you want to do?"

Didnt add perfect power as i couldnt find anyone selling them over here...
Money wise im not going overboard on this just want a ecu to re tune all the mods the have been added over then last 6 months.... Ive had quotes around $1500 to fit and tune so i would say that would be my budget on this...

Are you able to switch between diffrent mapping with some of these, because ideally you want a standard mapping for everyday 98RON fuel and then you want another mapping to say use 93+ RON fuel?
Or are the above prices just for one mapping?

on that whats the normal KW range at the wheels for a stock FTO ? about 110 kw isnt it ?
I think ive spoken to steve from avo and we couldnt find anyone in adelaide... The only ones i know that i can get installed are the Greddy range and then Uni chip... But this perfect power ecu is interesting me

I understand you can switch mappings whilst driving

Unsure about what was involved as far as that price goes - kaveman would be able to tell you.

/drools at Power FC.
They're not of the Apexera catalogue and haven't been so for a long time. Even amongst the Project F member rides I don't recall seeing many.

I just dug up the email from steve at avo and in the end he suggested a haltech ecu.... Theres another one to add to the list !!

Either the greddy emanage or the new haltech interceptor woudl both be perfect for the job.
Benefit of Haltech - has got ability to do duel mapping - Ie two different fuel maps or if running something like NOS, can duel map for NOS as well.
We are starting to use more and moer interceptor packages especially for stuff like this.

i dont think i would ever go as hardcore as NOS, have you installed any Ultimates into FTO over there yet dave ?
What sort of gains are you getting out of FTO's with my mods with a Greddy Emanage and Ultimates ...

We don't use the greddy ultimates yet - they are still too bug driven and not reliable.
We stay with the basic blue models which have proved ever so successful.
Have done a few of them over here but I don't remember the dyno number sorry - too many cars gets too confusing

I would go for the e-manage (well I did go for the e-manage)
Ultimate would be nice for the added features but I don't think a car like an FTO needs them. Like twin maps would be great on a turbo car for low/high boost but in an FTO? I guess you could use it for the MIVEC kick in point, smooth transition, or a kick to show it off to people.

a kick to show it off to people.
A kick is a sign of bad power delivery, hence the reason I'm not really a fan of turbos.

Are they still producing software and all the add ons for the emanage now that the ultimate is in ??
