gettin my car in for the respray this weekend. few questions for u guys
i want to paint my intake manifold dull black or matt black. would it coz any hassles coz of the heat n stuff?
what do i tell the painter. what type of paint, primer etc?
considering it will be hot all the time will he need to do somethin else as well while painting it .
i want to get the brake calipers painted too and is there a special paint for that ?
and finally im gettin the interior bits painted up as well. would those need to be primed and is there any special paint for the interior rubbery and plastic bits?

Brake Calipers - caliper paint or anything that will withstand hi temps.
Interior - just need to be cleaned and prepped (sanded back) thoroughly before painting
Engine bits - hi temp paint. With your manifold could also get it HPC-ed to provide some benefits (less heat radiation) throughout your engine bay.
But any decent painter should know all that, and what to use. In fact if they don't, I'd say go somewhere else because they should have done things like these heaps of times over.

Mostly suited for exhaust headers and other thermal applications - mostly engine internals

Yeah. Probably more effort than it's worth though.
How much of a 'full' respray is this? You getting the engine /window seals out? And you finally fitting the kit from the group buy too?

shue if your car is being sprayed... u wont be driving it, so might be a good time to get the HPC coating..... this is what i told you about remember? You can send it to them or revzone could sent it off for you as well.

sounds like a good idea. i think i'll get the panel shop to send it off as well, depends on cost but if it ends up being too much might as well get the exchange manifold from rpw.
