removing headlights

Hey guys, just a quick question this time...
How far off does the front bumper have to come before you can get the headlights out?

lol. Right.
Guess I meant if u had to loosen/take off all the bolts/screws or not.
Ah, to hell with it, think I'll go the whole hog and put a new grill in at the same time.
Now I just need someone to blame if it goes wrong....

Got a guide for you:

This will get you most of the way there. Rather than pulling the bar out completely, just pull it out enough the get the headlight out. Should only have to remove the plug from the back and the 2 screws on top.

Cheers bud! Just what i was after - looks like will be leaving the grill for when i get the bumper re-sprayed if my bumper will cooperate.
