I was just taking the misses to get a hot apple pie down the street when some hoons in a stock commie and a toyota soarer lined me up...initially I thought...cbf...but I decided to see how fast a toyota soarer (stock looking v8 one I guess) was...I gunned it and he gave up half way...seemed quite sh*t so dunno if he wasn't trying or they just sux...opinions please..i heard the V8 prodcue high 8s (0-100) with our fuel? (dep. on model of course) thats pretty crappy...the 6 would suck but the twin turbo 6 rocks...

Hmmm the V8 Limited isn't that bad from memory. So it could be either the driver, the car is stuff or its a N/A 6 version.

It can go alright in a straight line, but it's a a f**king big car. That said there are some very well put together factory models with amazing suspension, rear view camera, leather, etc, etc.
Lots of room. Lots of luxury.

1730kg
191kw
0-100 7.7sec (Factory claim)
Its not as fast as the V6TT, but dam its sounds awesome with a proper exhaust system & its none of those push rod 30yrs old technology (aka GM)

The GM unit might be ancient but it does the job better than it should!!!
You gotta give the unit credit!!!
Pushrods have the advantage of being a more compact engine and lighter. Might not be as smooth but they are able to rev just as much as a OHC engine! Everyone fears a chev!

well i reckon the chev motor is a dinosaur but it produces power in the right way so i guess thats all people care for!
