Yes this had been bought up before, what u see is just the starting bid & by the time you paid for the storage in Japan & transport fee, you usually paying at around 2-3 times of the winning bid. And I haven't even include the custom as well. So if you getting something that is over $300, you be hit by custom too.
But i had brought few stuff from there before. If you think is worth the money then get it.

yes but if they cost over $200 (i think its 200, could be 3) you have to pay importers gst, if you dont and customs finds out, your in the sh*t! its the same for nz and aus

The threshold for Duty and GST has been increased by Australian Customs to AU$1,000.00 as of june 2005.
So you can bring anything in up to this value without it being charged duty and GST.
The AU$1,000.00 is cost of goods and freight combined.
Freight from Japan is CHEAP compared to the UK or the US so its not that bad.
The difficulty is getting the seller to ship outside of Japan.

Well actually that's pretty much it Ken
The car (Skyline) was for sale in Japan. I purchased it, arranged for shipping, and got it registered here.
I'm a bit of an import nut. I've brought in three cars in the last four years for myself and family, and planning to get a new car to replace my R33 later this year.

Ok now I just GOTTA have these... how would I order it?
I've got a jap friend so he could read all that, do I just go and bid and they ship it out to me?
And anybody have any approx. idea of how much these would cost cos I have no idea about an average price.
