I got it with the car.
The ARC is really good for picking low end power because it holds air in the box and when you press the accelerator it just pickes it up!!

well if that's the concept then what's the different between a custom box with compare to an ARC? They both have air in there?

Inside

With the ARC, the air is already inside the filter (as the box is the filter), with custom box, it is inside the box, but outside the filter (pod).
As to how much difference it makes......

So you have the UAS Intake pipe with the ARC box at the end of it ??
Can you post a pic of your engine bay ?

I have the arc intake pipe... I bought mine second hand off this forum.... I cant remember what I paid for it $250 - $300???
I know they are expensive... but rather then taking the time to get one made or whatever (which I clearly wasnt getting round to doing) i made the choice to pay a bit more and take 5minutes to put this on.....
I love it, looks good, sounds better, it does heat up thought being made of metal.. but im assuming the air inside would not have time to heat up as it passes through...
Short notice

Best I can do on short notice:
If you want a different angle, let me know and ill take one or 2 more when i get home.
NOTE: The aluminium bit the hose passes through is not part of the ARC box. That is something I custom made for my CAI. For more info on that, see here:

Nope, I originally had it hooked up the the standard intake pipe. Bought the UAS one afterwards. Fits straight on.
