AWD FTO

Hi Guys,
I've been throwing up the idea of an AWD FTO for a little while now.
Now thinking that an FTO is basically a much better looking + Beefed up Lancer (+slightly larger measurements), I'm basically thinking that the easiest way to make an AWD FTO would be to copy the Evo Lancers...
But then again, I dont know much about mechenical stuff (in fact I cant even spell the word... apparently lol)
I will be able to donate my car for experiments soon (as soon as I buy a cheap run around wagon, need it for work anyway), and I do have accesss to a few free (free = apprantices that will works for booz) mechanics (but they are all pretty boring, and not willing to help with the design stage

).
So any of you guys want to throw some ideas at me? Or you can tell me off for biting off much more than I can handle.
cheers

There is a search button on the top of the page. Type "AWD" and you should able to find what you after.

Proper answer to making a AWD fto yourself is in one of the right topics we had about it.... basically similar model evo running gear something like a evo4/5 lancer and then doing something or other with the rear suspension. and lots of floor pan cutting and lots of fuel tank and spare tire moving and lots of engine/gearbox messing around, and custom made brackets and parts, and a engineers cert. (and a headache, and negative lots of money, drunk mechanics, and a awd fto)
see this home made conversion....

Did they ever solve that problem about the half sized fuel tank during this conversion?
