48k firm.
no test drive unless 3.4k(to cover insurance excess) is given deposit and returned to u if my car comes back in one piece.
also stock evo 8s are equiped with much better satelite tracking than evo9s because they are not like the quick trac where they cannot track u when there is no reception for example in a country area, where as the one equiped on evo8 actually use REAL satellite tracking and not only GSM base. Also it enables sms to lock/unlock car, track location of car, activate geofence etc.

Basically means he's not letting you drive his car unless you've got the money to cover it if you f**k it up while driving it.
$48K is a lot of money to just let someone drive around.
Good luck with the sale champ.

if u dont know
it is common for idiots to jsut randomly call up high performance car
for test drive and basically they jsut thrash your car.
i dont like the risk
and if u ask for a test drive from any evos from carsales.com.au
i'm pretty sure they will ask for a lump some to cover excess for insurance before they let u get inside.

I agree with you, there are heaps of tyres kicker & test pilot out there, but I think is also depends on how people present themselve, as in the way they talk/body movements & the age they're in.
Anyway good luck with your sale.

There is a different between invited to a launch where they insisted you to test drive their cars & just go & test drive people cars because they are fuc*king retards that can't afford a car of their own.
Next time when they send me an invite, i give it to you Chris, so you won't have to envy me

I should get one from Audi, Lexus & Mercedes within two mths, just pick one.

I just haven't heard of this before.
I personally dont get people to drive my car. They get the idea when i drive it.
Have you had people test drive (deposit money) or comment about them paying a deposit to test drive a car.
Ps There is 2 sides of the story.....How bout someone pays a deposit to test drive the car, doesn't like the car, what is the gaurantee/legal obligation that the owner will return the money? Also, will the insurance companies cover a test drive in the first place.
My 2 cents.

well then u proceed to kick the sh*t out of the owner if he doesn't give you the money back lol
anyway I can see how this makes sense, "better safe than sorry"

My previous insurer covered other parties who were test driving my car.
