Gearbox

i have a triptonic 94 GPX model. I notice that when i change the gear from P to D, it will not engage immediately. It took 1 or 2 seconds to engage the gear. Does it mean it's going to be Fxxked? or just need an oil change?

guys any suggestion or opinion on this?
really worried about the gearbox coz it is an expensive stuff to replace.................

take it to a good auto place for a look. Have you chnaged the ATF lateley? Do this as a start.
