What is the stock lsd that the GPvr comes with?
I'm going to guess 1-way viscous.

What's involved in servicing (ie, km's, years etc, replacement, etc), general maintenance etc?

Good question! Be interested to know the answer...

Only light I can shed is that a majoirty of the aftermarket units available are from Cusco.

now i know the KAAZ types are clutch...which apparently is good for racing more than street (aggresive engagement, noisy, relatively short life between services) but it can of course be tuned.....whats the cusco?

Damn, i know i've seen the answer somewhere. when i get home (at work now, its a tough job :P) i'll go a huntin again. Get back to you if i find the answer.

Okay from what i can find, its a helical lsd.
torque-sensing

It is said to enable "more powerful traction in response to accelerator fluctuations compared to a speed-sensitive viscous coupling type LSD, superior response to accelerator fluctuations compared to regular mechanical LSDs and maintains drive even if one wheel experiences significant loss of traction". The LSD mechanism can also allow up to 2.5:1 left-to-right torque split ratio.
