Okay, thanks to chelly for finding out about a track day.
For anyone who hasnt heard, it would be $200 per person for a track day. Now im fine with that but judging from all the tight arses on the cruise

i dont know if all u guys are gonna be up for that....
So... Lets throw up some ideas about the next cruise...
Options:
1)Mountain Cruise (Maybe try Mt Nebo?)
2) Coast Cruise
3) Broadie Car Park Cruise
4) Track Day
5) Go to somesort of event (like autosalon? i dunno what shows are up here in qld)
6) That idea someone had about the puzzle thingo in cars...
7) Go somewhere non-car related (i.e movie world, etc)

A combination of ideas
Let me know what u guys think..

I couldn't think of anything more boring....lol just my opinion. I dont see the point of driving an hour and a half to park in a car park

man pretty sure they have an open day or something at willowbank every few weeks which costs $70 or so, then theres test and tune every second wednesday which is $35 and you can use the drag strip
theres also defensive driving course thing which im yet to find out price for
id be up for a mountain or coast cruise or whatever and we should have a bbq and kick a ball around or something fun during it
as for events here there is autosalon i think as well as some other sh*t like the drags and stuff but its a bit crowded for a large-ish group to go we would all just split up so kinda pointless
also whats a broadie car park?

I'm still pretty bummed that I missed the last cruise - desperately had to do a service on my car & sunday was the only time i could do it
I like the idea of a Track Meet, & even though I've got no income at the moment and a bit low on cash reserves I'd be up for that @ $200 - never been to one before, would be a good experience
There is also an aquaplaning course - teaches you how to control your car in the wet... You get to go on a huge concrete skidplane and slide around in your car - not sure how much that costs though
I know some people need to work so the Midweek thing at Willowbank would be out I guess...
& I agree with robsta on the car park thing .. *yawn*

I'm up for a track day. I'd be up for most the other things as well.\ but agree it would be hard to stick together at most the bigger things like autosalon. Oh by the way everyone those Puzzle game things people are talking about are ussualy called Observation Runs or Ob's Runs. I've been involved with a few with car clubs up in Rocky, are great fun as long as some smart arse doens't make the questions too hard.

I be up for track day to, but as said before cost might be an issue for a lot of peeps.
i'd say we should just meet up at a big car park (for nice pics) on the gold coast, with BBQ and a park for a football.
simple but effective.

for the next cruise, do we want to just do chelly's beach thing (28th of oct?)?
we can kill a few birds with 1 stone: chelly gets a tan; we make up for the coast ppl coming down for the last cruise; we get an actual coast cruise in; and we can easily work a bbq or something in

this won't cure chellys failure to get a tan
