It's a biggie.
Yes you can do it in a day though - If you know what you are doing and have help.
Just make sure you plug everything back in

Okay, so as there's going to be a fair number of us, I was wondering the possibility of swapping over my Diffs? I've got the new rear axle, new front diff member and most of the speciality tools I'll need for the job (i.e. brake bleeder kit), but need a few helping hands to complete the job. HOPEFULLY it shouldn't be too hard, but I'll need flat ground as it means replacing the whole rear axle.
Aza, would it be okay if I attempted this? or is it too big of a task in your eyes?

I don't think that will be a good thing for the DIY day, as most of the dash will need to come out of the car so you can get to it.
It is possible to do it with the upper part of the dash still in the car my dad and myself changed mine will admit was difficult but we got it done in a few hours worth it heater=happy
