Hello and welcome to the club.
Sorry no idea about rims.... sure someone will come and give you some pointers.
I love the stock rim size... doesn't rub around the plastic guards etc...

Re: HELLO NEWBIE IN NEWY
WTTC , best size rim? what do you mean by best, cause best could be anything depending on what you like, though i think most peoples choice for aftermarket wheels on the fto are 17s or even 18s? though i think 18s rub (depending on profile etc) you could fit what you want, but if its too big itl rub, personally, i think 17s are a good level ~traceyian wrote:hi,just after some info what is the best size rims 17inch?

Welcome to the club!
I don't believe they made too many 2000 models... You got yourself a special one there!
As for rim size... Personally, I wouldn't go too far beyond 17"s, wouldn't want those wheel guards scraping, would we??

Re: HELLO NEWBIE IN NEWY
2000 GX Aero.. wow, nice! Pretty rare one there.
Id say 17s with reasonable offset, anything bigger and it apparently scrubs if the offset isnt correct.

Production figures are here http://www.completefto.com.au/CompleteFTO.asp?aid=449
Could be very possible that its the only one in aus. Id guess that theres one floating around somewhere though

Re: HELLO NEWBIE IN NEWY
She has a GX not a GPX.
The GX is non MIVEC.
There is another GX Aero, but I believe it's a 98...
Unless you made a typo flash.
Or were simply pointing out production year.
I know of a few 2000 year FTOs floating around.
