This is the part you need to grind down.

Going into first and fifth is alright but kind of makes a metal on metal click.

Going into second and reverse is where most of the problem is.

Missus car
1. Bought and installed a brand new headunit and brand new speakers all round
2. Fixed her central locking and alarm
3. Turned the idle up via the idle screw (no it's not the stepper)
4. Fixed her cruise control
5. Polished her alloys (now they look chrome lol)
6. Roadworthied and regoed it :D

Had a bit of work done on the black one this morning!

Had a new radiator cap fitted (one one was fucked ), a coolant flush, and had a coolant hose replaced around the throttle body as it was pissing everywhere :| All fixed now!

Have also booked the red one in to have new rims fitted on Wednesday morning... Selected PDW Fuzions in black with RE002 tyres! Got a good price too :)

Bought some of that super blue gasket stuff for my rocker cover as Vectose suggested. Also grabbed some sikaflex (as I had none - sikaflex fixes all!) and some Shell 10w40 oil. Will do it tomorrow as I have to go out soon and dont wanna be working while the engine is still boiling hot

The previous owner was lazy and used the blue liquid gasket on my rocker covers.

Lasted 20,000kms.

He tried to convince me FTO's had "liquid gaskets" and no rubber ones were available. I smiled and said nothing
