Dinner Meat. (MEAT!! GET IT!! LOL)

Post by FtoSam »

Righto guys..

good 'ol QLD has been a bit quiet lately, So i was thinking, VIC has been doing a few dinner meets lately.

Why dont we do the same?
Some options would be:
-Sizzler (If Chelsea isnt banned from there yet)
-Hogs Breath
-Im outta ideas.

Whats everyones opinion?

It would be in/near the city so its at least a bit central.

I will not be bringing my FTO for obvious reasons, so will be hooning around in the scoots. lol

Dates:

27th/28th July (same time as Autosalon meeting)
3rd or 4th August

Opinions please??

why not do the autosalon meeting at the dinner. give me a better excuse to drink and hopefully wont be the only person drinking then lol

and may i suggest something that's not in the city cos parking and finding our way around might be a b!tch. maybe something in newstead or the valley maybe? or go the opposite way and say.... one of the places at southbank? or milton... if anyone know of any decent eating places in milton.

hehe, i don't know whats so hard about driving & parking in the city.. never had any dramas with it before.. 'tis much easier to find a free parking spot on the weekend or at night than it is on a weekday though..

theres a few good places to eat at Milton & Southbank... though depends on $$$

could always just go to southbank & let everyone choose what they want to eat from all the fast food places & then find someplace to sit & eat instead of going to a restaurant or something..

I'm definately taking the train up if theres gonna be drinking afoot...

Righto, we will do the meeting at dinner...

Somewhere at milton/auchenflower area would be good as my place is there. And if we finish dinner and need to do some more talking/drinking(yang) then we can just head round there...

I know theres a hogs breath near suncorp at the end of milton road??
5 Petrie Terrace
Paddington

How does that sound? only a 5 min drive to my joint.

And gotta love hogs breath.

Plenty of parking near suncorp (worst case scenario park at my works secured underground parking on black st (behind maccas) and walk though suncorp to hogs breath (4 min walk)

i'm sure they will serve some sort of rabit food almost everywhere now. so hopefully that wont be too much of a problem, or else we can always find a vegitarian place that pretends to serve meat (there's a few of these places around, where they try to get the food to almost taste like meat.. maybe if anyone knows a good one that would be cool, havent been to one for 5 or 6 yrs now lol)

and sam:
drinking(yang)
lol
and i think u work down the rd from where i work lol

we can always go to a pub in the city or one of the places on queen st mall.
