Someone to share with....

Post by FtoSam »

righto... i moved out of my unit last weekend into a house at jamboree heights.. Anyway, im only here for a month or two..

I've always shared places. And i find its really hard to get someone you get along with.. Its always a conflict of interests... i.e. last guy hated cars, etc... liked golf and being a metro... lol

Guy im sharing a 4 Bdr place with atm loves his utes etc... which actually makes things a heap easier...

So im looking for a new place... and rather than finding a place to share into, i thought i'd look at getting a 3-5Bdr place and getting one or two ppl in myself...

And who better than an FTO owner... pretty sure having such similair interests would make things easy...

Anyway, so im asking for anyone whos interested in moving into a new place in the next month or two..

House will be:
- A House (no units)
- min 3 Bedroom (or 2 bdr with study)
- Min 2 car garage
- Near Brisbane (thinking near jindalee as its a good area being cheap and 10 mins from city)
- Nice looking place
- $100-150pw ea..

Sharer will be:
- Able to pay rent on time everytime
- That is all

Im very easy going as most of you know... Work pretty long hours...

Let me know ASAP if your keen to do it...

The places im looking at the moment are 4 Bdr 2-4 Car garage big new places in good areas around $350-400pw.. ($175-200 for 2ppl or $116 - 133 for 3 ppl)

Come on ppl... think of a house full of FTOs... should be mad fun...

If anyones interested, let me know...

-Sam

LOL Sam, you know you're opening this up to people like me.... maybe you should be more selective in your criteria ;)

Just so happens that I am looking at moving into or near the city pretty soon, was looking more for a unit though, but I spose it doesn't matter as long as it is a nice place. Lockup garage is a must though.

mate i would have no probs living with you... lol... lockup double car garage at a minimum is on my criteria...

Would love to get 3ppl total as it makes it a lot cheaper...

Have a look through some propertys on www.realestate.com.au in the areas you like... i need less than 20 min drive to taringa...

and how many ppl there are, i'd like 1 spare room... i.e. 2 ppl = 3 bedroom etc...

Have a look and let me know what you find...

Also, when you looking to do it mate?

ack, just looked up where Jindalee is ... 'tis gonna be a fair hike to E' Bris in peak hour, will have to have a look for some places central to both areas.
I can move out whenever, just been looking for a decent place at a decent price.

Will talk to you about it some more at the DIY day on the weekend..

Do you know if theres a Citycat or Ferry that would go from West End to Taringa? That spot would be awesome if there was..

I dont mind where i live...

I HAVE to drive (i drive work cars)

West end is fine...

and location comes after garage and nice place... so if its a 30 min trip to work then so be it...

If anyone is interested have a look on realestate.com.au and if u find a place you'd be happy to share, post up the link... will let you know..

Also, trying to get hold of lukas as he is keen as mustard to move up here... so sharing with one other would be fine as i know he'd be up for this as well...

lol, imagine driving down the street and you see 3 FTOs parked in someones driveway.... regularly... lol

Yeh 6 months probably... but im sure if you needed to leave earlier, you could easily find someone to take your place.

if i find a good place in a good area i will stay for the forsee-able future..
But that doesnt mean everyone else has to.

Oh, aircon & dishwasher are at the top of my priorities list as well.
