You think you know about your cars? Think again!!

Post by shadowarrior »

I was searching around for some info related to the steering wheel having bit of left-right play, specially when doing a full turn slowly. I was thinking, yeah, could be tie rod ends or something.

Google showed another person in Mens Health forum had similar problem. I thought, well, it's Men's Health forum, has a car's subsection in the forums, so men would be talking about cars....like most men do. And I started reading the thread.....and wow....everything I knew about cars, was nothing compared to the knowledge I discovered there.

Some of the quotes:
When was the last time you've changed the air in your tires? This is especially important if you live in an area where the weather changes drastically each season. You may have warm summer air in your tires which can cause symptoms like this when you drive on the cold pavement.
Premium air definitely makes a difference.
8O

This changes everything!!!
Have you ever thought of the advantages you can have for having summer air during the winters? Or heaven forbid.... the rare and highly expensive autumn air? f**k!!! The possibilities are endless!! I am going to search for some premium air now. Wish me luck, this is a dark, long tunnel, but am sure there's plenty of light at the other end!

You do not mix scotch with coke ...no.... scotch..with couple of cubes of ice! That's it....no more... tons of ice ruins it as well.
Quick 'never get drunk' tactics ...works with Rum.
Rum+Coke+Lime cordial= keep drinking forever, never get drunk. I never drink sweet rum though and hate bundaberg... Inner Circle 40% or Old Monk are my fave for rum :)
