hi guys - thanks for the pm -
I am interested in attending - I just need to see if I will be around. My work or season finishes at the end of this cricket season which is normally mid march - wihch ties in well, but its also the only time I can take holidays for the year and so there is a fair chance I will be O/S!

Once I have hopefully been re contracted in the next few weeks I will be in a better position to know where I will be at this time.

I wonder if cars will be as clean at autosalon this year??????? Im finding it damn tough to keep my car in its usual condition.

gun.

I have sent off an email to some1 also..they just came back with a brice of between $99 - $150 broardloom meter - wotever that means. This is thorugh the Fowles Auction group. see how your guys turn out.

I assume we would want about 5-10 sqm. not sure though. We need to cover the rest with something nice and cheep...maybe a black or dark color. We can pick that up at auctions for sure.

Was think about a centre-piece for the stand...arch/screen or similar. Something cheap obviously.

prob just the FTO...plenty of the SAU boys have r33s which can be enetered...

I'm going in the GP Autosalon which is before this...

Get some NSW boys together and make it a crusie down to Melb. We might be able to repeat the stand in NSW and return the favour.

Having never been to an autosalon, would it be possible for someone to run over how the cars may be layed out. ie/ possible size, direction & shape(s) of the area(s) provided, so that I can get some ideas for lighting

That's good to hear your interested mate. I do strictly emphasise to everyone that money and forms will be finalised on the next meeting. Even if I have to physically stick them in envelopes, stamp them and post them that night. That way we won't have a repeat of last time!

Amazing stuff Rob... just amazing ......

we do want to be careful that this doesnt leak out to other clubs as it can be very competitive and you would be surprised who would be watching so best to keep a few autosalon ideas up our sleeve for meeting instead of the forums .... just a suggestion !

Are we doing just one strip of red carpet like that? Or are we going to cover the whole floor in red carpet?
