placing photo on my profile

how do i place a photo on my profile i tried everything its giving me the irits how do u do it.
i resized it 1000.000 times, it says the pixles r 2 big so i change the size then the file is 2 big. all iwant is a pic of my car up there. how do i do it.

Put a full sized file up here and I am sure one of us can fix it for you.

For reference, my avatar is 120 x 63 pixels, and the image size is 13 kB

When you put the image up, you have to host it on an external website like ugbox or image shack, you can't upload it here (even though it gives you the option in your account page).
