white mist (smoke) From lefthand center vent

After running car for a few minutes with accon on a white mist (smoke) From lefthand center vent comes out when accon turned off it stops
any ideas?

Get an a/c specialist to check for leaks in the system.

That's the gas isn't it? Basically harmless but put a window down to let it escape.

Mist from the vents is a classic symptom of a blown heater core/matrix.

Check the passenger side footwell for water.

Second that opinion...
Or put your hand over the vent...
If its wet, its actually steam from the Matrix (its plastic and crap)
If dry.... then... well... somethings bad is happening..
Also try changing which vents are open? Mine used to fog up the windscreen... lol...
