what # equals the leter G?

Post by Joey1987 »

Just wondering what every ones opinions are?

I want to get personalised plates and need to have a G in them. The problem is I have to create a G from numbers.

Now here’s the really hard part is a G a six (6) or a nine (9)?????

Everyone tells me something different. I could either have a small g with a 9 or a big G with a 6.

I am really stuck here. What’s everyone else think?

i'd make it a capital G from a 6

Ignoring the major and minor notes as fractions of the whole and assuming the starting point of an octave is 'C' as 1 then 'G' would be 5.

If you're talking about the alphabet with 'A' representing 1, 'G' would be 7.

As an ASCII character code, 'G' is 71.

In the greek alphabet there's s symbol that looks like a 'G' called 'koppa'. That symbol represents the number 90.
The problem is I have to create a G from numbers.
In answer to your question: 5, 7, 71, or 90.

Wow.

That's confusing!

Gota keep things simple for me, I not real smart.

Nah thanks for ya help. still confused but. Think im going more towards a 6 coz the fest of the numba plate will be in capital letters so it wouldn't really make sence to get a small G now would it?
