Ah ok Olly, so is the same reason why you keep telling everyone you got a stock GPvR. Just in case the salesman sold you a GS with a bodykit  :P

Bennoz wrote:The main reason why the rear 3 are different is because in 94 platinum or iridum plugs were not invented yet! Hence they used the different (longer lasting plug in the rear 3.

Its not that hard to pull the intake, just need an extra half hour or so.
I thought they were platinum in the rear????

If you're getting the NGK IXs you should be able to get them cheaper off ebay eg: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NGK-spark-plugs- ... dZViewItem

I picked up a set of 6 a while ago for my old Skyline for $70 delivered from the US...

yeah thats a good retail price.

As for platnium type plugs....they are spec'd in the service manual and they were around when the FTO was being sold.

Copper has been proven to be better or just as good, just doesnt last as long, but u get them for like 3 bucks.

The Sparkies Cost me $22 for one Sparky...So a Total of $132 was spent on mine. Which i thought was reasonable. Though $100 Is pretty much Cheap there around that mark anyway i'd say.

Looks like it... NGK heat ratings go from 2 being hot, to 12 being cold. All other manufacturers heat rating go the other way, ie 12 being hot etc

I think you can order Iraway 7 from perfectrun for about $13 each (using current exchange). Don't know how much postage would cost though.
