Fastest car you own.

Post by FTO338 »

I know some members here (not their relatives or friends) have M3, AMG, GTR, EVO, STI, MR2 turbo and other high power cars. So i'm wondering whats the fastest car (not bikes hehehe ) anyone here ever own.

I had the 11sec 300ZX TT at one stage that clocked 340kmph. That would be the fastest yet. It drinks petrol like water though.... :?

FTO is the first, fastest & only car I've owned :P
Before that I drove an 86' Magna & the birthgivers' Lantra for about a year

When I upgrade I'll most likely go for an RX-7 or Lotus Elise :)

FTO has to be mine, my previous car was a Civic Hatch CXI model. I still have it.

My next car (when i have the cash) will be an evo - either xi or xii.

Car I own would have to be my VX SS daily driver....

Car I owned would be 93 Liberty RS with a truck load of mods, was an absolute pig off boost (VF22) and kept eating gearboxes, especially when launched hard.

Cheers

Ive had a few cars that were quick, but never officially timed any of them.

Fastest would have to be my Starion Turbo, got that out to 210 ish and would have been interesting time over the 1/4, as it had quite a bit of poke.

Nothing crazy like some ppl here.

FTO definately my fav car so far, but not the fastest.

FTO would probably be the quickest I've owned but the quickest car I drove was a Mitsi 3000GT in the UK. Fark that was fast. The quickest car I've had a ride in was probably a heavily modified Sierra Cosworth. The only time I've been scared by how fast a car was!

Its my current r33.

Now running just a tad under 300rwkw with the latest qmile time of 12.1 and an estimated sub 5s 0-100 time. Traction is the killer for a rwd car but its great fun to drive. The G-Tech has given me 4.5 a few times.

The best thing about this car is its got some great handling also....I have been on many of twisty cruise with GTRs and new EVOs all of which are suprised of my acceleration and ability to hit corners hard.

Generally only modifed GTRs beat me or a well modded XR6 turbo can matach me also...just wait until we hit the corners.

Only taken it to 250kmph on the track, it has a bit more to give.

Fastest Car i've owned would be my FTO now its turbo'd... though i've been going very easy on it lately...

Fastest car i've been in was my mates 82' Rolla with a 6L Supercharged V8 in it... yeah it did wheel stands too... 8O

Scary stuff some of those cars...
Prefer the looks and handling of an FTO..
Only ever been 230km/h (In a safe place of course) in the FTO..

Thats because many sane people would not push a GTR or EVO to the limits around a corner on a track too unpredictable.

After the FTO the only way I'm going is an Evo. Nothing like 4wd and a sweet sweet chassis.

oh dear...

on a different note.. and some what to the topic lol. has anyone put a stock GR up against a 05 camery sportivo (the 2.4 4cylinder not the 6). cos i was driving one of those for a while (when mum bought one  it was a mighty upgrade from a 85 toyota corona wagon - aka my old work horse lol)

and i've been wondering which one's faster... but it's kinda hard to get mum to race me at the traffic lights and all... any ideas on how the 2 will go in a straight line? i know the stock fto beats it on cornering.

First Gen Mazda 6
122kW @ 6500rpm
207Nm @ 4000rpm-4000rpm
1356kg

05 Camry Sportivo 2.4L
112kW @ 5600rpm
218Nm @ 4000rpm-4000rpm
1460kg

Depends on the driver, the specs are very close to stock GR.
