Mivec sounds harsh

ok, ive had my fto for a short time,
within a week on having it, a belt tore thu the crank angle sensor,
now my mivec is sounding really harsh.
before it just used to make a cute noise :P(best i could think off :oops: )

now its really odd,
as a really bad thing to say.. it sounds like its ripping?



any idea's?

im stummped.

Generally when you spit a belt that tears up the crank angle sensor, it tells me you were pulling some pretty high revs. Perhaps you've stripped a tooth off the timing belt...

well its been about a month after i ripped the belt that its started doing this, im just a little concearned.

but i will go get the belt checked out. thanks.

is it just the mivec that has the problem or is it the whole engine, if it was then id say its a timing issue...
