Good luck with fixing it... Fuses are oh so important..
Maybe we should pair up... I can do a full stereo install in a day and you can rebuild my new GR Engine... hehehe... Its in Taree NSW for 2 weeks getting blueprinted if ya wanna help... hehehehe... :lol:

Well, I spent most of Sunday arvo installing a proper amp wiring kit. F*ck those fat wires are a bastard to feed around the place :x

Here is my 2 cents:

Its probably not a good idea having your RCA and Power Cable zip tied together. You are more prone to get engine noise that way. The RCA cable and power cable should be run along on either sides of the car.

Also its probably also a good idea not to bundle the RCA cable together in a loop, because you are creating a coil. Being attached to the Power cable, it can produce heat. Having a coil right next to it can make it heat up, and you may have another fire! And you dont want that happening again. It probably wont happen, but Id take precaution if it was me.

same reason i always yell at my mrs for not pulling the vaccuum cleaner cable the whole way out of the machine...

think 'coils on a bar heater'
