Just wondering if anyone knows where the best places to order CV joints are?
I know that Auto barn can get them in for me, but does anyone know of anywhere else that may be better to get them from?
And also are there any recommended sorts to get, which are better than others. Or doesn’t it really matter?
Oh and I need them by the weekend so somewhere in Brisbane would be best!
Thanks Jo

Auto barn called me to tell me that I cant get them from there now. Because when they called there supplier they told them that they don’t have them now. So I can’t get them from there.
So now I am even more stuck
I tried looking on the internet to find somewhere that I can get them from but can’t find anything.

Boots
Are you after the boots or the joints (the drive shafts themselves). If you are after the joints themselves, I have both a manual set and an automatic set (although Id have to check to make sure the automatic set are OK). As to the boots, im pretty sure the driveshaft guy that re-booted the manual ones I have was able to match against a mazda part.

If you want new www.kempys.co.nz supply them. If you buy a whole new CV unit you get the boot kit with grease as well, or they can just do the boot kit (comes with grease & cable ties etc) - mind you (as dstocks mentions) they are a generic boot size & could be sourced locally.
They aren't on the website thou, you'll need to ring them & speak to the parts guys.

he is quite cheap, he is a cv specialist all he does is cvs if u want his number ill try and find it but yeah he is best ive found,
i have 3.5L magna joints, with a damper on drivers side, a 2L sonanta drive shaft on passenger side and a s15 drive shaft on drive side, he said i will not blow these no matter what i do
