And who's got the most powerful fto over there atm? Power figures?

Interesting to compare with Adz and Jeff over here. I know adz puts down a bit over 300kw atw. Jeff I'll ask on the weekend... i think his is very similair.

As is any mention of cricket - cricket is a minority sport here in Scotland.

Amazing how all the stereotypes come out lol....

The most powerful 6A12 would have been my old one, around 250-260bhp at the flywheel.

There was another more powerful one built using forged internals with allegedly 300+ bhp but that engine didn't last long.

Richards engine was running around 400bhp when it let go, so i believe the plan is for forged internals and closer to 500bhp.

Bishi bought his turbo from over here but he had over 220 BHP without it anyway.

Anyways, our forum is back up and running so thank you for your kind hospitality and thanks for all the fish

But I'll be back anyway soon

Really?? Im in the process of getting my 2nd engine rebuilt. I had 190hp from my std mivec (with a turbo). on 5psi. New engine is forged everything, Completely rebuilt, Turbo Cams, etc etc..
Was hoping for 280hp+ with 15psi or so.
Should i look for a new gearbox? AdzFTO runs a standard FTO gearbox in his 350hp 6a13 FTO. And he drives it a fair bit and doesnt drive it slowly either.

Why did the forged engine fail? Is there something i should be looking out for while getting mine done?

I ran 250+bhp though the 4 speed tip for a good few years with no problems, that included a few drag outings too.
As long as you look after it then you shouldnt have too many problems.
