You can do it yourself yes but you will also find the GT-wing doesn't fit on those standard holes ... have fun going through what i did before

The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problem.

You took the boot lid off? We didn't ??Bennoz wrote:Boot lid comes off, stock wing comes off, holes get welded & filled, boot gets resprayed, new holes drilled for GT wing, GT wing is fitted. Find a panel beater & expect to pay somewhere bewteen 200 & 300.
What we did
1- Took old wing off (Type R wing)
2- Gave holes a bang to indent them and filled/sprayed (yeah - it's a white car!!! - easy)
3- Marked where new holes going
4- Drilled new holes
5- Vinyled GT wing to blend in with car (ie - put 2 blue stripes on it)
6- Put it on
Cheers
