$300!!??
Theres about $75 worth of piping & silicon & $15 worth of offcut aluminium there at best..
I'd be interested to know what air filter is under there that is worth $200 second hand...

Yeh... $300 would be a steep price brand new.

Maybe reconsider your pricing..

I had my one made up (a lot better than this one) and had a top of the range POD filter on it ($90 worth) and was $185 total. Brand new.

$300 is crazy amount of money for intake.
but honestly i don't think its worth boxing the pod filters anyway...
I use to have a pipe that just feed up cold air to my pod filter :)

it's worth boxing them if you do it right;
Pod filter fully enclosed with huge pipe leading in with cold air... I will be putting my pod in the stock box (turned 90 deg' clockwise) & cutting a very big hole in it for a feeder pipe... maybe even have a second cold air pipe leading in..

mine cost me $88 all up with HKS Superflow pod filter (free)
modifying the stock box (free) and a big ass feeder pipe maybe another $20-30 at the most

Yeah well i don't like people treat us as bunch of noobs, like as if we all don't know how much it cost :evil:

I'm more interested in being nice to members of the forums & giving them the heads up on this item being too overpriced rather than being nice to a spare parts wrecker trying to palm this off at a ridiculously high price to someone who may not know any better ... & if you're wondering where i get the idea that he's a wrecker ... why else would anyone need to label a part as being from an FTO? (... besides to make it go faster? lol)

hahaha... wats new michael... nah jokes...

To be constructive, the price is very high..

As i said, i had mine made up for under $200 new and look a lot cleaner than that..

good luck with the sale. Only reason a few ppl got a bit aggressive there was its almost insulting to ask so much for that. thanks for explaining though..

And if you're ever unsure on a price just say so... the members here will make sure you dont get ripped off. And same visa versa
