what research ? do you even have an fto
if you do is it modified
get yourself a stock gpx then we can talk, the reason i say this is that i have raced a stock gpx and won. as i said also it can depend on the driver
now in my last coment i said that i have beaten a gpx thats why im confident i can do it again, remember the gs is light and quick and more manuvrable than the gpx.
and there are no mods on my car just yet.
so calm down and take a deep breath and relax dont have an episode. he he he he he he .

LOL first of all, you challenged me without knowing what i drive or what FTO i had before.
And you never mention anything about your GS vs stock GPX, all you said was the following
What i drive now is what i got on the profiles *look toward your left side of the screen* and yes that avatar are my actual cars. While you at it, read my position title
Like I said, all i did was stating the fact, but you just want to stir it up, so i just play along and provide some light entertainment for other members.

After all these, if you still interested to have a go, I'll be fair, I use my Hybrid 4WD, it is the heaviest and the slowest out of all my cars.

I know the GS is a bit lighter then other models, now let say your theory on this scenario "lighter means quicker and more maneuverable" is correct, then consider this, GS FTO are heavier then a stock CE Lancer (samilar base chassis and floorpan with identical engine as GS), which mean a stock CE Lancer can out run a stock GS FTO.phantom wrote:now in my last coment i said that i have beaten a gpx thats why im confident i can do it again, remember the gs is light and quick and more manuvrable than the gpx

just read this - are u on crack u GS looney
The GS is 90kgs lighter (1100kg) than the GPX (1190kg). However the GPX has 147kw Vs 91 kw at the fly. Even if the GS had a manual and the GPX was tip u still have NO chance.
The GS is rated at 0-100 in 10.25s (TIP)
The GPX is 7.60s (TIP)
Thats about 3s difference LOL......
10s 0-100, my old ford did it in 9! LOL

LOL this thread has gone to hell
On a more constructive note, we all defend things we like, maybe sometimes a bit too religiously (i've done it before hehe). You said you've beaten GPX before and i thought maybe you had a snail on the side of the engine and then you said yours is stock. If you'd like a run against a gpx that's performing decently (maybe the other one had faulty sensors and bad fuel, oil, filters etc), then i'm open to offers if you're in the sydney area.
Weight ain't got too much to do with it, as KJ said - only 90 in it. And a manual gpx loses another 20 on that figure. Mines 115kw atw @ 1150 kgs atm.
