6 months playing the same game 8 hours a day!???
to me it sounds more like a bizzare social experiment rather than game testing, to see how long you can play Spyro before you go completely mental ... I don't know how I would cope with that, it'd get so boring & tedious after a while .. but then again, so do most jobs...
Need some more info on where to apply
Do you just have to report bugs in the game when you find them?

Need some more info on where to apply

bahhahaha guys guys guys
ok i can't really help you get jobs but you can call up THQ australia and ask to apply for a QA position (QA quality assurance)
here is the site
http://www.thqstudioaustralia.com/
Yang the best thing about working in games industry is FREE BEER EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT!!!! yay
i work at a company called Halfbrick. (small company about 30 people)
we don't need any QA cause i'm the only one ahhahahah but we work with THQ and they are always looking for more QA

Yeah its still pretty much a job but you can still have fun. i get to listen to music all day and if i want a brake i go get a coffee and look on the netmr-charisma wrote:6 months playing the same game 8 hours a day!???to me it sounds more like a bizzare social experiment rather than game testing, to see how long you can play Spyro before you go completely mental ... but yeah the main job is to brake the game, once done you enter bugs into a program, then depending who is lead, they will send them off to a programmer to fix the bug, then once they have fixed the bug you check it and try brake it again

most of the time though QA is just a postion to get into the games industry to then become a level builder or desinger etc.
