GV1 Rims or Akuza

Post by sniper007 »

Hi there, I am new member to the site and about to take delivery of a 1996 GPX FTO Silver in colour.

To say the least I am excited!!! :D

I am going to put some rims on her and was tossing up between these two.

Just wondering what everyone thinks they would look like on a silver FTO, stock standard (no kit).

And if even possible if anyone has a picture with an FTO with either of these rims?

Thanks everyone!

welcome to the club  which state are you in?

nice choice in car colour :D
option B will end up lookin a LOT like maggsy in qld... that would be my choice,
not a fan of the option A bling-bling rims... but that's just my personal opinion.

here's maggsy's ride -

In NSW sydney....

Silver seems a much better choice, I had the option of a red one but the silver one seemed much better in the looks department.

Still confused 8O

the rims on my car are Koya 'Menis' 18", black and machined with mirror lip.

when i got them they had only been on the market for two weeks so i knew they where uniqe. it took me ages to find them and almost every wheel shop on the Gold Coast but as soon as i saw them i knew they where the one's

LOOOL!!! your a man maggsy?

yeh i would definatly not go for the bling for an fto.. trust me it looks sh*t lol. Those rims my mate has on a wrx and to say the least.. against my car they looked shiza!! >.<

go to ozzy tyres or any local shop and they will fit a wheel to your car or sit it beside it to see how it looks.. Best way to choose your wheels :)

It has been a long time since I have posted on here, and I mean no disrespect, but I don't understand putting anything chrome on a Japanese sports car, even if it is just a chrome lip on the wheels.

Each to their own, but I am a big fan of anything Enkei. I have RP03's on mine at present...

Yah i'm not really a fan of chrome wheels either, especially on the fto. But hey, to each their own. If it looks good to you, it'll probably look good to someone else out there. Can't please everyone hehe.

My pick, Volk TE37s in either 17 or 18. Mhmmm.
